Welcome to Strath Views

Living in the Highlands of Scotland is a continual, inspirational experience. The dramatic landscapes change, not only seasonally, but also minute by minute with subtle nuances in the light.

The galleries in this website contain original views taken across the area, (most especially in Sutherland and Ross-shire), and include many beautiful locations such as Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Assynt, Morar, Torridon, Lochaber and Skye. Whilst most photographs are of the natural landscape, some settlements are also covered - Inverness, Beauly, Ullapool, Dingwall, Cromarty, for example and Strathpeffer, which features strongly, as that is where we are based. Even Edinburgh and Glasgow are included, even if not in the Highlands, as they have major roles in the history and culture of Scotland. The winter scenes make very popular Christmas cards, as well as being beautiful in their own right.

Many of the scenes are included on our DVD, (click on the links above for details and to see a preview). It has been supported by some of the best musicians Scotland has to offer - Ivan Drever, Blair Douglas, Duncan Chisholm, Phil Cunningham & Aly Bain, and by Runrig. All profits go to charity.
